ZYBOで遊びましょ! linux ファイルシステムをSDに

ふと、petalinux-configでなつかしいコンフィグ画面が出てきたのを見て、
あぁ、、、これでxinitが必要だったのか、、、でスルーしたのを思い出して再挑戦。
ちゃんと設定できるようになってました。

SDのパーティション
BOOT.BINとimage.ubはFAT32、rootfs.ext4はlinuxなのでパ−ティションを切る必要があります。
これ、FATとlinuxの間に隙間を作らないと、
スーパーブロックなんちゃらとエラーが出ます。
隙間は2048ブロックあれば良いようです。
これ、fdiskでパーティションを切った場合の話しで、いまどきのツールだと必要なかった!というような話しもあるようです?

細かな手順は書きませんが、バージョンはちょっと古くてもネットで検索すれば丁寧な解説がでてきますからそちらを参考にすればすぐにわかると思います。

ZYBOで遊びましょ! linuxを動かしてみた。

petalinuxをインストールしたのでzybo用にlinuxを作ってみました。
プロジェクトは、始めの一歩で確認したHelloWorldの表示だけのものですが、デバイスも一通り認識しているようです。

ラズベリーパイの環境とはだいぶ違いますね。
一番の問題は、これRAMdiskベースなんですよね、実運用では便利ですが、いろいろ遊んでみるには面倒くさい環境ですね。

U-bootでDHCPが動いているんですね、ether関連でxxx.xxx.xxx.と表示されている部分はIPアドレスなのでxxxと修正 してます。
SDカード、スパーで544円で売っていたモノですが、スピード50Mですって、、、

ZYBOで遊びましょ! petalinuxのインストール

ハマったのでメモ

環境
パソコン:DELL Inspron3268 メモリー8G
OS:Windows10Pro
VM:VrtualBox6.0.10
Linux:Ubuntu18.04.2
petalinux:petalinux-v2019.1-final-installer.run

当初はGUIはいらないみたいだからWSL(Windows Subsystem for Linux)と思ったのですが、これだめなんですね。

仕方ないのでVMを使うことに、あんちょくにデフォルト指定でインストール。
これが大失敗、デフォルトはメモリー1G,ディスク10Gなのですが、どちらも容量不足。
メモリー4G,ディスク容量60Gで構築。

ISOイメージのUbuntuのダウンロードが失敗していることに気がつかずに?状態。
DVDが作成出来るISOイメージであることを事前に確認するべきでした。

インストール
チェックで沢山のライブラリー&ツールの要求に唖然!
必要なものはマニアルには記載されているので、事前にインストールしておくのが賢明。

USB
マウントに失敗するUSBメモリーがあります、なぜか古いメモリーはOK。
パソコンのSDカードスロットは一応USBなのですが、Ubuntuでは認識しませんでした。
zyboのディスクイメージはUSBのカードアダプター経由で作成。
これは1.1しかサポート出来ていないのが問題みたいです。
設定で2.0or3.0を指定すると立ち上がらない。

 

まっ、ザックリ整理すると、マニアルをちゃんと見なさい!って話しですね。
